Writing partners Danny Woodburn and Amy Buchwald are award-winning filmmakers, performers, writers, and activist.
An actor writer and stand-up comic, Amy Buchwald began her life on stage by training at the nationally renowned Minneapolis Children’s Theater Company, where she appeared in main stage productions and touring company. By age sixteen she was a professional, equity member, and resident ingénue at The Cricket and Guthrie II theaters, receiving critical acclaim in a variety of professional productions. Amy received her BA in English and Art History at Sarah Lawrence College. Additionally, she was trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Circle In The Square, Juilliard, Shakespeare LA, and Second City.
Danny Woodburn is a celebrated award-winning actor, writer, stand-up comic and director with an over 30-year career comprising more than 30 feature films. (Mirror Mirror, Watchmen, Death to Smoochy, TMNT). He is perhaps best known for Mickey Abbott, Kramer’s volatile friend on NBC’s Emmy-winning, history-making show, Seinfeld, but to date has more than 150 television appearances in regular and recurring roles on some of televisions best loved shows; Bones, Tracy Takes On…, Murder She Wrote, Becker, Charmed, Baywatch, Crash & Bernstein, Passions and The Bold and the Beautiful.
