Tim Garrick's first short film, “THE RECEIPT!”, starring Kristen Bell and Dina Meyer, won several "Best Film" awards at festivals all over the world including the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival (the world's largest), Cinequest Online Viewers Voice, and the International Festival of Cinema and Technology, where it was the first comedy in the history of the festival to win Best Film.
In 2014 he directed his first feature film, “BEHAVING BADLY”, starring Selena Gomez, Mary-Louise Parker, Elisabeth Shue, Dylan McDermott, Heather Graham, Jason Lee, Cary Elwes, and Nat Wolff. He also co-wrote the screenplay for “BEHAVING BADLY”, as well as the features “STRANGER THAN FICTION” (Produced by Ram Bergman and starring Dina Meyer and Todd Field), and “JAILBAIT!” (at the time, MTV's highest rated original film).
He adapted the YA novel, "SAVING JULIET" for Disney with Peter Chelsom attached to direct. He has also sold scripts to several companies, including Warner Bros., Disney, Fox and MTV. He wrote the book to the award-winning musical, “SNEAUX!” which starred Kristen Bell and had a record breaking run in Los Angeles, and where he was nominated for "Best Playwriting" for the 2003 LA theater season.
Most recently, he wrote and directed the award-winning short horror film, "IS SOMEONE THERE?" (starring Travis Van Winkle) which was executive produced by Benicio del Toro.
